Wolves of Maine Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue and education center located in Maine. We provide a safe, loving home for abused, neglected, or abandoned wolves, wolf hybrids, and wolfdogs, allowing them to live the rest of their lives in comfort and care.
Founded in 1990 and officially named Wolves of Maine Sanctuary in 2022, we are guided by a passionate board of trustees and supported by a dedicated team of volunteers who work tirelessly to protect and nurture our rescues.
Education is at the heart of our mission as we strive to raise awareness about wolf ecology, conservation, and the importance of compassionate care. Our goal is to continue improving the lives of our current rescues while helping as many wolves as possible in the future, ensuring that every wolf in our care finds safety, dignity, and a place to thrive.
